Sooo I'm finally back in the A to visit after nearly 3 years (if memory serves right...) YAY!! First of all, gotta apologize to B (sorry i couldn't bring us both, man). Second of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY COURTNEY!!! At any rate, this break was sorely needed after the monotony of a 6 day workweek, where the only time i had fun was when i paid for it with dehydration. This time I have the time to really explore Atlanta and see how great this city is (the only thing that could make this better was if the Braves were in town, but hey i'm kool). And right now, I can think of too many times that i have been happier. Besides all that, I get to keep the apparent trend of being there for Courtney's birthday (traditional, though unspoken). At any rate, i've no real moral to teach or story to tell, so stay tuned, because I'm pretty sure there will be something blogworthy that happens. Oh yea, the hair game is back on point btw....

A dream I have from time to time
He was nervous, the crowd filled Armstrong Stadium. He scanned the two crowds, starting with the seats. His family numbered roughly 15 and sat in the center section behind the home team's goalposts. Another group of at least 20 caught his eye, all staring at the main field. He traced their eyes to the target on the field. A girl with a cap and gown on like the other hundreds of students surrounding her, sat attentively her eyes, fixed on the stage. He glanced nonchalantly, flashed a small innocent smile and widened his focus to the entire audience. The lump in his throat had cleared at this point.
"I'm not a very long winded person, maybe that's why they chose me as the speaker today" he jested. The crowd chuckled. "But i will to the best of my ability leave anyone within earshot something to remember." he continued, straightening up slightly "We are here today to congratulate, a group of young incredible people, that have endured four years, of obstacles, known and unknown to us. they deserve to reward them selves for the extremely hard work they have put in to come this far. But i say to you, my friends. Do not settle for just rewarding yourselves with just the celebration of these last few days or weeks, how ever long you have been celebrating. Reward yourself with a future. This is just a step in life, a degree is a tool not a trophy, use it. I remember when I myself was a fellow student, conversing with some of you, my good friends. We would talk about the future and how we envisioned it. Many of you had dreams of making lots of money, or being very successful among your peers. The drive you had in that conversation is the same drive i know you will have in the future. i hate to make this personal, but do you all remember my response to that question? Yes, I just wanted to be happy, and being happy to me was being in the position to successfully help many. While there are many more to help i can say I have been doing as well as I hoped" the crowd roared in applause. He smiles. Then before he continues, he looked down to his side. He grabs the cordless mic off of the stand and starts slowly away from the podium. "well you know what my friends, my family? I revisited that question. what would make me happy? I met a classmate a couple of years ago when i was in a situation in where i didn't feel school was for me. She was there to encourage me and ever since has been my continous inspiration. If not for her i may not be spaeking to you all at once, but maybe in a random conversation, talking about how i could have made it. I say all that to say this" by this time he has dropped fro the stage and walked a few rows back. "What would make me happy is that this person let me become a part of her future" he clutched a small black box in his hand and slowly fell to one knee next to the ever attentive girl, he flashed a smile at in the beginning of the speech.......
